Kodi Smit-McPhee Junta-se Ao Elenco Da Sequela de Rise of The Planet of the Apes

A 20th Century Fox acabou de contratar o jovem ator Kodi Smit-McPhee para protagonizar o filme de ação/ aventura "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes", a continuação de "Rise of The Planet of The Apes". As informações são do Deadline. Jason Clarke e Andy Serkis (Cesar) também estão confirmados no elenco deste filme. Os papéis de Smit-McPhee e Clarke não foram divulgados, mas já se sabe que a história de "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" vai-se desenrolar quinze anos após os eventos de "Rise of the Planet of the Apes", e vai acompanhar a luta que César (Andy Serkis) trava para se impor como o líder incontestável dos primatas. Esta sequela também vai explorar a história de um grupo de cientistas que tentam descobrir uma cura para o vírus que tem dizimado a população humana. Mark Bomback e Scott Z. Burns escreveram o argumento desta obra. Matt Reeves será o realizador. A sua estreia norte-americana está marcada para 23 de Maio de 2014.
