Óscares 2011 - Nomeados

As nomeações para a 83ª cerimónia dos prémios da Academia de Artes e Ciências Cinematográficas foram reveladas há poucas horas em Hollywood e, desde já, podemos dizer-vos que não houve grandes surpresas. ?The King?s Speech? é o filme mais nomeado deste ano, com 12 nomeações no total e uma representação assegurada em todas as categorias apelidadas de ?principais?. Logo no seu encalço, e de forma algo surpreendente, surge o mais recente western dos irmãos Coen ? ?True Grit? ?, com 10 nomeações ao todo. Esta é, assim, a terceira vez consecutiva que Joel e Ethan Coen vêem um filme seu nomeado para o mais apetecível prémio de todos. E a terminar o pódio dos mais nomeados do ano, surgem ainda ?The Social Network? e ?Inception?, ambos com 8 nomeações. No que a estes dois filmes diz respeito, destaque para a ausência de Andrew Garfield na categoria de Melhor Actor Secundário e também para o esquecimento (mais um) de Christopher Nolan na categoria de Melhor Realizador. Será Christopher Nolan o novo Tim Burton? A julgar pela forma como a Academia constantemente o ignora, tudo parece indicar que sim. Na categoria de Melhor Filme, é também de assinalar a presença de ?Toy Story 3?, comprovando que a Pixar continua a marcar pontos entre os milhares de membros da Academia. E no que às representações diz respeito, talvez a maior surpresa vá para a presença da jovem Hailee Steinfeld na categoria de Melhor Actriz Secundária, em detrimento de Julianne Moore pelo seu papel em ?The Kids Are All Right?. Por fim, e no que constitui uma desilusão muito pessoal, de referir que ?Shutter Island? passou completamente ao lado dos membros votantes da Academia, já que não conseguiu arrecadar uma única nomeação. Mas a Academia não está aqui para me agradar, portanto, paciência. Resta dizer que a cerimónia de entrega destes prémios se realiza no próximo dia 27 de Fevereiro e que, desde já, se aceitam apostas da vossa parte. ?The Social Network? parece partir na pole position desta frenética corrida. Mas será ultrapassado por ?The King?s Speech?? Ou terão ?True Grit? e ?Black Swan? uma palavra a dizer nesta titânica batalha? A ver vamos daqui a um mês.
