Matt Reeves Vai Realizar a Sequela de Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Segundo o Deadline, Matt Reeves foi contratado pela 20th Century Fox para substituir Rupert Wyatt na realização de "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes", a sequela de "Rise of The Planet of the Apes". Wyatt desistiu de realizar esta continuação por causa do seu apertado cronograma, algo que aparentemente não é problemático para Matt Reeves, que recentemente abandonou a realização de "The Twilight Zone" sem oferecer nenhum razão oficial, mas agora podemos presumir que Reeves desistiu desse filme para se poder dedicar a este "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes". Andy Serkis (Cesar) é, até ao momento, o único ator confirmado no elenco deste filme de ação, cuja história vai explorar o inicio do controlo mundial por parte dos símios e o progressivo alastrar do vírus mortal que eventualmente extermina os humanos. A estreia norte-americana desta sequela está marcada para 23 de Maio de 2014.
